This project saw an entire facelift for this existing home in Spearfish.

The main entrance to the property was relocated and an eye-popping door added to create a central focal point for visitors. The front entrance was pushed out a bit to create two closets for coat and shoe storage.  A signature wrap-around covered patio was crafted to create ample outdoor entertaining space.  The nickel-gap porch ceiling was vaulted to provide a voluminous feel and bridge washers were used as a rustic touch.  Rustic exposed timbers and impressive beams and were used to create an open feel, maintain sightlines.  The rustic features and contemporary hues complete the portrait.

An elegant, curved sidewalk connects the porch to the garage and creates a journey through the homeowner’s extensive floral collection.  Coupled with new windows, exterior insulation, and new siding, these improvements dramatically changed the homes curb appeal and improved the home’s energy efficiency.
