In collaboration with our client, we brought a modern feel to this home with careful selection of materials without losing the character of the property. The siding was replaced, a subtle gable accent was added, unique metal wainscoting was installed, and the front entrance was freshened with a new front door, hardware, and lighting. The garage received some love with new entry doors and exterior lighting. To cap off the exterior, a modern exterior ceiling fan was installed.
With fireplaces a focal point during midwestern winters, the team revitalized the existing fireplace and added a second to help this family stay warm and comfortable. The master bedroom renovation saw us deliver a new surround and a hand-made distressed wood mantle for displaying the family’s treasured items. The new great room fireplace included a contemporary subway tile surround and another hand-crafted, distressed wood mantel.
The project result was a reimagined home set to deliver the next chapters in the lives of our client’s family.
